Re: "Helping" Discussion

To me, the big picture is the present. And its really noticable how far away he is standing. The little pictures are some of the possibilities that might happen next - they are feeling and thinking those possibilities so strongly that the possibilities have become tangible and stand there in the air...

Re: "Redwall" discussion

Redwall literature always focuses on repetative ancient legends, because the urban decay of present day Redwall is just to painful to dwell on. I re-read Drostie's solution, and understood it that time, really cool solution. Now I see from Drostie's first question that what I said was not true - I was imaginging that there was no point choosing who to direct the second question to, based on the answer to the first question. But as shown in ...

Asking for a hint: I am wondering, do you always ask the same three questions? i.e. I ask question 1 of some god and get reply Da (say). I don't know if Da means "yes" or "no", so there is no point modifying my strategy based on this answer - I may as well have decided on what q...

Yesterday our boss (biology prof) got a phone call to collect his post from the mail-room cos it too bulky to go with the letter delivery, didn't know what it was, so he was hoping it something nice. Turned out to be a very heavy glossy tract on "how fossils prove that evolution is false" ...

A graphical way of looking at the problem.

Hello. This is not a solution. Its a way of thinking which you could use to get a solution. v. long. ta mable. First of all, lets define the problem a bit more generally: I'm writing X for the distance to the traffic light when you first see it. So in our case X =2000m. I'm writing T for the period ...
