Re: 0936: "Password Strength"

Wow. I could probably guess all my friends passwords if they used either of these formulas.

I personally go for minor Nordic gods.

Re: Confessional Shed - I'll keep a look-out

Confession #1: I lie. Almost everyday. I don't feel regret. I don't even feel any different than I do if I tell the truth. I don't lie compulsively, and that's what bothers me the most; I lie because its easier. Doesn't have to be much easier. if I am explaining why I am late, for example, I will si...

Man, I have so many options!
Oscar Edgewood
Oscar Chestnut
Oscar Locust.
None of them are really great, but I think Oscar is just generally a bad name.

Re: Childhood misconceptions

Wow. I hadn't even heard of most of these until now. The only childhood misconceptions I ever had was a series having to do with Parmesan cheese. Only having heard of cheddar and Leiden cheese, I thought that it must be farmer John cheese. It was obviously grown (idk) by him on his farm outside our ...

With my middle name: Globalise Juniors Sloops. Without my middle name: Jobless Origin Solos. If you you guess my middle name, you get a cookie, and if you guess my full name (hint: I have 2 last names) you get the whole tray! EDIT: oops, I cheated. That damn umlaut is confusing! Oh well. Re: More Obama Birth Certificate Naughtiness

I like to think that Obama is simply in awe of republican stupidity, but I suspect that he is just waiting for an overwhelming majority to believe the birthers, and then he will show everyone his birth certificate, and, in doing so, make the republicans look incredibly stupid and illegitemite. EDIT:...

Re: Riots in Egypt

Just got reports of two Million protestors in the main square. For some reason, I don't think they are losing momentum. Also: screw Israel. If they want to make a new country, don't drive out the other people first. It also helps to make a nation somewhere where not EVERYONE hates you. Democracy FTW...

Re: Topfree Movement: Wanting to Have Ones Cake and Eat It T

It is actually pretty funny to see all this hullabaloo unfold because of this movement. I think its fine, but jerks will be jerks. A few second stare is, in my mind, acceptable. following/overly lewd comments: not OK. But in the VI its all irrelevant anyway. Women go to the beaches and occasionally ...

Re: Republicans Planning "Muslim Hearings"

Luckily they forgot the bacon, otherwise we'd be screwed. 'Sigged. To add something relevant to the discussion, I think that, while this is scary, that the majority of voters will realize: "Hey, this is guy is totally f$%king INSANE!" Alternatives include: A) the majority of people turnin...

This comic, for me, provided a great respite from the comics Randall was posting earlier. You know the ones. The ones that almost seemed designed to create bickering. I love it. Its clever and funny, and enjoyable by most people. Keep it up Randall!

SirMustapha, I don't understand how religion gives anything but solace and courage. To say otherwise would be to suggest that religion makes a physical difference. Do you believe that religion has anything other than a psychological effect? you aren't sounding much like a skeptic to me. I did reread...

Re: 0836: "Sickness"

Randall is not "dismissing" anything completely here, but he is clearly diminishing. Try to strip off the purple prose of the second panel, and what you get is pretty much him saying "No offence, guys, but you are all idiots". No no no you're getting him all wrong! He's saying, ...

My personal favorite is from a not-so-nice guy, Mussolini: "If I advance, follow me; if I retreat, kill me; if I die, avenge me."
It is pretty cool, so I would like to know all of your favorite quotes.

Steroid, I can respect some of what you are saying. Yes, I am a liberal, and yes, I think what most Tea Partiers are doing is complete insanity. You, on the other hand, seem fairly reasonable. So please listen: I am going to address one of the core principles of the Tea Party: lowering taxes and cut...

When I first joined the internet, I was 10, so I played lots of mini-game like things, and when it asked me for a name for the high-score, I put in hoopla, to mean general crazy excitement. Oh, and by the way, I'm lame. I'm thinking of changing it to Framps, as a tribute to my grandfather, His name ...

Two things: I was born with a small cyst in my ear. it popped when I was three, and all this cheesy yucky stuff came out. I was born with an abdominal hernia. Sometimes muscle proteins and other muscle stuff would come out and turn my belly button bright blue, and I couldn't sit up for hours. When I...

I know what I would do: 1. figure out all the unknown stuff in ancient history (first I went forward and gave myself the elixir for eternal youth) 2. find one of those horse races where the horse expected to come in 53rd wins, and pour my life savings into it. 3. go to the California gold rush with ...

I live in America's Caribbean. My house overlooks a beautiful island chain and I go spearfishing and sailing almost every weekend. Thanks to early admission policies, I can graduate from the university by the time I'm 18! Our main exports are happiness, untaxed alcohol and tobacco and a lack of open...
