Not bad, ++$_ :-) And you're right, it really does make you want to just throw in a misspelling sometimes (especially when a line is one character off and you can't figure out a way to resolve it...) Combining lines 3 and 4 isn't cheating! In fact, I've found another fixed-width limerick on the Lime...

This is me watching the cricket in Media Center, on top of my desktop (which is devoid of icons). It also shows my Quick start menu - which is docked to the right side of my desktop, and only displays on mouse-over.
