Re: Comment Web

Since a comment web is a graph, you could traverse it like you traverse a graph. From whatever post you are at, put some or all of the connected posts onto a stack or queue, then pop one off to visit. This way, you don't have to backtrack when you have more than one post you could read next - you'll...

Re: Help me find a short story

This Is the Title of This Story, Which Is Also Found Several Times in the Story Itself I found this. Is it it? And since this thread exists now - maybe someone can help me figure out which book or story this scene is from, all I can remember is this one scene: There are two characters. One is telli...

Then why say "puerta" instead of "d00r" or something? English has a word for puerta, just as it has a word for "las". I just wanted to show that the "teh" is acting a lot like a "la" or "las". But, I mean, if you wanted to use spanish word...

Leet verbs

I was adding -z0r to the end of a bunch of words to make them leet, and it made me think of the -ar, -er, -ir verb endings in spanish. In spanish, you change the ending of the verb to conjugate it. If you added -z0r to the end of any verb, it would give you an easy, regular way to conjugate it. You ...

Last month when it was raining, I took my umbrella and went walking. What I was really hoping for was for the rain to sort of cut me off from the rest of the world. Like a curtain, between me and everything else on the street. It didn't feel like that at all though; I was disappointed. And my shoes ...

For the past two weeks I've been getting calls for "Ben Bair" who is not me. They aren't all from the same place, but some of the same people call again and again. They either don't believe me or can't be bothered to remember or mark down that this phone number is not in fact causing them ...

Is there pokemon for DS? If so, I may have to lock myself in a closet and play. Diamond and Pearl are out in Japan, but no US release dates given yet. I'm proud that I was never into pokemon. The closest I came to that was enjoying the 'Digimon Ranchers' (or something) cartoon once or twice when I ...
