Sorry if this has been posted here before, but what are people's thoughts on Newcomb's paradox? Someone just pointed it out to me, and even after considering the attempted resolutions on Wikipedia, it's still messing with my mind.

A friend of mine wrote a hilarious Turing tarpit once called SpudScript. I actually wrote a complete program in it, here. We didn't think it was Turing-complete at first because of the lack of explicit looping constructs, but then we figured out that you could swing it with recursion.

Sometimes I actually think it can help to set aside an idea or a sketch for a couple of days, and then take a look at it later to see if it still seems funny. It's easy for me to get in a mood where I think everything is funny, only to later realize that it wasn't quite as hilarious as I thought it ...

hmm, that's good to hear, i may well do that. something closer to that was my original plan, but somehow it turned into just a more linear sequence of comics... i'm still not sure which is better.
