Also, McDonald's is cheaper and much lower quality in the US than overseas. Most of Europe isn't sensible, just slow. Give us a few years, and we'll be just where the US is now. When that happens, I might move to France. They still have the balls to stand up to the US.

I see job interviews as a way for both parties to find out if they like the other party. Honesty seems the best way to achieve that.

I would schedule the interview for job2 and either try to postpone the decision on job1 until after the interview, or cancel the interview when you've accepted job1.
