I'm in Rhode Island and on various browser's I've seen the snake one and the northern lights one. Nothing special on my 3DS unfortunately... it would have been nice to have a reprise of last year.

Re: Phantom hourglass on the 3DS

I was able to get that puzzle to work fine on my 3DS, I don't know why it wouldn't work on yours. (Regular DSes go to sleep when you close them too... I assumed that it was the going into sleep mode that activated the puzzle solution, not the physical action of closing the system.)

Re: Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright

I don't get why people keep complaining that the game is on the 3DS rather than DS. The 3DS isn't just another model of DS, it's the successor system, like the DS was to the GBA. Eventually games are going to have to start coming out on the 3DS, not the DS. And this will be a better game for it, hop...

Re: What are you readioactive now(and other book related stu

For some reason I found myself reading Douglas Hofstadter's Le Ton beau de Marot again- first all the poem sections then the rest of the book.

DRH was probably one of my first childhood heroes. Along with the Power Rangers.

That pretty much set the tone for the rest of my life.

Yeah, the Penny Arcade one wasn't that great, because that's a joke that plenty of people made leading up to the game's release, and it was repeatedly shown that if you do that, you get a fake Starite that won't beat the level for you.
