My iPod Nano is corrupted...

My computer died, and my music library went with it. Most of it was bought either off itunes or downloaded from various internet artists, so only a portion of my library is actually on iTunes. I tried plugging my iPod into a different computer, but iTunes is saying that it's corrupted and they want ...

Half Life vs Half Life Source?

I'm going to buy the original Half Life, but I'm not sure weather I should get HL or HL source. I have several questions. A. Do they both come with the developer console? B. Which version does Ross Scott use for "Freeman's Mind?" Half Life: Source, which he mentions comes with the dev ...

Need Help With French Grammar Check

I plugged the English version of Portal 2's "Cara Mia" into Google Translate, which I know screws up grammar a lot. Can someone check the grammar for me? I've only taken French 1, so I'm not that experienced with french grammar. If you see any mistakes in google's translation, please post ...

Neurotoxin as a Preservative

Ok, since it is out of context, this is going to sound like a really weird question, but here goes. Are there any gaseous or liquid neurotoxins that slow down the decay of, say, a potato or lemon drastically? Any answers are appreciated.

Does this mean I'm not the only one who gets down on their hands and knees and, using the floor tiling as a grid, only moves throughout the store in the pattern of a Glider from Conway's game of life? That's normal, right? :)

The first one is a joke about quantum mechanics. The Heisenburg Uncertainty principle states that the uncertainty in the momentum of something times the uncertainty in the position of something is greater than or equal to Planck's Constant over four pi. In English, that means that as you know more a...

Why is it that when you yawn, people around you yawn too? I've heard you can even get cats and dogs to do it. I'm assuming it's some sort of psychology thing. How does that work?

Re: Uncertain on Uncertainty

My, We've gotten off topic. Anyways, Here's the semi-classical explanation, of which I'm very fond. You know the velocity of an electron. To see the electron, light must be bounced off of it. Photons carry momentum, and so when it hits the electron, the electron's velocity changes. Now you know more...
