since the beginning of the walk, I thought that the recent scenery could conveniently be referred to as 'the walk'. surprisingly, nobody has pointed this out yet, so I'm still able to bring the news after reading through from just before the fading.

I'd argue that no subset of words or phrases could ever be effectively excluded from a potential figurative use, so as long as figurative speech (in its many layers) exists, there will be no word truly indicating reference by itself. only the context may tell in what regard something is believable. ...

If that text on the left-hand side isn't a poem, it should be. Depending on what you mean by "poem", either it is or it isn't. Should doesn't enter into it. For me, a poem is metrical and rhymed, so this isn't one. But if you want it to be a poem, I don't mind. much of modern poetry tends...

There are more clear, more sensible ways to introduce hat guy as a really snobby connoisseur. The way the comic starts off, it's sort of like Randall doesn't know what a truly snobby person sounds like, and then he goes into a "I DON'T KNOW I DON'T CARE ABOUT NOTHING LEAVE ME ALONE" when ...

ad punchlines

I think,
the last panel serves great as a straight counterpoint. it has stick figures in believable poses (shown closely) and deadpan commentary. I felt drawn in by the break of the absurd.
also, things don't have to end on punchlines.
