Not a food, but an implement: I think chopsticks are silly. Acceptable for noodle soups, maybe, but not much else. Why would anyone eat rice with anything other than their fingers? I can answer this one: Chopsticks are easy to make when you're in the woods, just by shaving the bark off a green stic...

Portland is a good town for beer, it is true... but the only american brew I really, really want is from Phantom Canyon Brewing Co. in Colorado Springs, but they don't bottle under pressure, or ship kegs :(

My sophmore year in college, there was a bet on the floor as to which set of roommates would be first to Eiffel Tower a girl and scream "Go Team Venture!" and complete the handsign. I was not a part of this bet, as I lived alone, but I found it rather amusing, if a little disturbing.
