Re: "SUV" Discussion

Near me we are at £1.31/litre for diesel, that's $9.68/gallon. 50p of that goes to fuel duty, the rest goes to tax and delivery, leaving the product at about 46p. I'd like to know the breakdown of where the money goes in the US.

It's only going to go up.

HAL + GlaDOS? Imagine what the kids will look like... It already happened. The turrets have their father's eye. Wow, you're right, the eyes are kind of similar (see pic.). Red eyes must be dominant in the AI world. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a297/predatormc/th_hal_glados.jpg

Re: "Pod Bay Doors" Discussion

Today's comic is fantastic. All artificial AI should have a song to sing when they lose the ability to process logic.

Yahtzee.

My favourite colour is #30556E
It has been that, or similar since I can recall. I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed more than a couple of hexadecimals.

Hah, I love how many revisions have occurred on the Wikipedia page in the last few minutes. Refreshing the page at the moment changes it each time.

Cheers!

Yeah, forgot to mention, some mild nudity in a few of the images. Especially the one naked guy. The first thing I thought was that those two took it a little too far, and then realised the rampant error in my judgement. My favourite comment from metafilter: Why did they shoot only homosexuals?

Self Make Out

A reccuring theme in many of the comics here on xkcd, most recently choices part 4 . After stumbling across this weird but fantastic art site in which people have been very carefully edited into kissing themselves I thought I must post it here. Website in French. (via: Metafilter ) The marvellous on...

Just finished my A-Levels in Biology, Maths and Physics, and am doing/looking for small jobs in web based programming and graphic design until I go study physics at University later this year.

Oooh, first post. And I've been here a while. Sorry, I'm such a lurker.
