Re: Warlocks (Spellcaster, Waving Hands, etc)

Good game Xade, that was really fun. I love how this game has perfect knowledge and is 100% automatically fair. Makes it like playing chess. Hmm, I wonder what a version of chess where you move simultanously would be like... Also, I noticed the scoring system. If you have zero points currently ther...

Re: Warlocks (Spellcaster, Waving Hands, etc)

I think a lot of folk should use something while they're getting a feel for the game.

I certainly speeds up the learning process.

But it shouldn't take too many games under your belts before you remember the various options availiable. :)

If any of you guys are interested, the general warlocks "community" tends to frequent the forums attached to this site.

It's full of analysis and strategies that will help you in getting a deeper understanding of the game. :)

That explains why even though you are posting, you aren't playing.

Re: Warlocks (Spellcaster, Waving Hands, etc)

Well played, xade, though I'm not all that surprised. I didn't see the Disease coming out of the invis because I wasn't paying enough attention. I surrendered, as you'll see as soon as you move. http://games.ravenblack.net/warlocks?num=68120 See! It's a heck of a game!. :D It does have a fair learn...

Also, I accepted one of xade's challenges. I expect to lose horribly, but perhaps I'll pick something up. :) I'll try to be gentle... Don't believe it. xade is brutal! Also, Delay Effect lets you bank a spell without the ability to counterspell that spell. And the banked spell is not an enchantment...

Re: Warlocks (Spellcaster, Waving Hands, etc)

Yeah, I was wondering about that. Why? Maladroit is prefered over confusion as confusion adds a degree of randomism to outcomes that takes away from the "perfect knowledge" aspect that the rest of the game has going on. ParaFC is around to prevent ParaFF/FoD from being the all crushing st...

1^2 + 1 = 2 ≠ -1

Where is the error?

Hmmm, I'm not much of a mathemetician, but I'm going to lock in x^2 ≠ 1/x for 1000.

I also decree that you shall not know before you are woken on the morning of your death upon which day you will die. This part is the part that strikes me as arguement ending. He might be *expecting* to die tomorrow. But he doesn't *know* that he will. On the 114th day, he doesn't *know* that he is...
