Re: Physics help

So, a watt is the amount of joules per second, by using the wavelength I work out the frequency and then the energy of a photon. Then do I divide the energy of the photon with the amount of joules per second to get the amount of photons?

Physics help

hi, I'm having trouble with a question my teacher hasn't covered in my unit of work on photons, this sort of question may come in my exam after sitting my first miserable 1, anyway, if you guys could give me hints that would be most appreciating so I can work through getting the answer myself. May I ask on what you guys' views are on the theory that Neanderthals and humans interbred. I believe we had indefinite, but recently in my Biology class a question regarding the definition of a species came in the context of humans and Neanderthals. Of course species are organisms which cannot inte...

Global Warming surely is real?

I have heard many people who believe that global warming is a myth for numerous reasons, these include lack of evidence, other earth actions causing the same effects and so on. But isn't the planet Venus a perfect example of global warming? In theory Mercury should be the warmest planet because it's...

Anyone feel that when they think of an idea then that idea is then thought of by a large company and become a large hit, unfortunately this has happened more than once to myself. Anyways, an idea I have had is could we possibly modify the genome of many common crops in order to "adapt" the...

Reply to a post further back into the forum, I am currently doing A level Maths, and the course is being taught in 2 parts, Pure Mathematics and Statistics, seeing as you said we don't get taught pure maths in the UK, I'd say by now we are 100% getting taught pure maths.

If there are 2 parallel resistors I find this equation much easier : R1*R2/ R1+R2 Saves me a heck of time when answering questions which concern as I said only 2 parallel resistors, with series resistors you simply add them up. If you had more than 2 parallel resistors then yes as stated before you ...

I have heard that the collision of atoms simultaneously everywhere in space is how the universe began, sorry to confuse the big bang theory with the creation of the universe. But that would suggest that there was matter in "nothing", which would suggest that there is more than just the par...

I wouldn't exactly put anything you practice as a grappler in a street fight unless you're on the floor, you will get whooped if you attempt to grapple from what I've seen, boxing I think is the most useful. It normally takes a small amount of punches in a real street fight to beat the other opponen...

You really don't want to get songs off of limewire as most of them contain alot of viruses. I would recommend using media converters to convert any music off of youtube. Or use genuine MP3 download sites. Any descent web browser will show you the site Certificates to make sure the site is safe.
