Re: BBC to apologize for faking documentary

As I understand it, it is not just about whether the journalist staged that scene. It is also about him not being able to verify his footage, i.e. not living up to the standards expected of documentaries. The BBC Trust concluded: “Great investigative journalism must be based on the highest standards...

Re: Man faces criminal charge for reading cheating wife's e-

That's a bad analogy, because I am not immediately able to read a private mail if I accidentally auto-login to someone else's mail account. I still have to open the mail itself to read it, and that doesn't really happen by accident.

I absolutely loved tonight's Japan-Denmark game. Great efficient attacking play by the Japs, wonderful swooping free kicks in the first half. Decent shots and attempts for Jon Dahl Tomason that didn't connect, but I hardly think they were denied the game. Thing is, Jon Dahl has been like that for y...

That's not much of a problem, actually. With a little practice you can get a perfectly flat surface of graphite (and other suitable materials) simply by adhering and removing scotch tape. I don't think it matters who hired Puck and Loki; what matters is that Morpheus had plenty of enemies who could conceivably hire them and Morpheus allowed the events to unfold as they did. It's a greek tragedy, not a murder mystery, and it was his own flaw that killed him.

I don't think there was a misunderstanding based on cultural ignorance at all. Imagine if Obama was giving the finger to someone right behind the photographer, and they published that picture.

It's a misunderstanding based on cultural ignorance, that's all. A simple apology should be issued and ought to fix that.
