Over the weekend: ratatouille and cod en papillote. Stuffed some of the leftover ratatouille into a French omelette later.

I made some gazpacho, and turned some of it into a sauce for a piece of black cod that I seared. Also saved a bit of the tomato to make a bit of pan con tomate to snack on while cooking.

Cooked a bunch of Indian food over the weekend. Chickpea curry on Saturday, made with dried chickpeas rather than canned for a change. And last night: temple-style yogurt rice, spicy dry-fried okra, and Chettinadu mutton pepper fry.

For lunch yesterday, we made some fattoush to go with leftover rotisserie chicken, along with a simple tahini sauce. Decent fattoush is surprisingly hard to find in restaurants here.

For dinner, asparagus risotto, then a salad to go with some store-bought bourbon sausage.

I found some guanciale, so we made spaghetti carbonara and sauteed broccolini. Used the double boiler method, and didn't end up with scrambled eggs, for a change.

Also went to a ramen class last week, and made a bunch of ramen.
