Re: 2009 XKCD Fora Secret Santa Gift Exchange!

Cruciality, I'm so happy that you enjoyed everything in it so much. :) I was a little wary of adding in the tea, because you have to add so many ingredients to actually make it, but... it came out all right in the end.

Also... that scarf looks dashing on you, if I may say. ;)

Re: Confessional Bed - Not just for pillow talk!

I've been seriously stressed out lately. I've been on unemployment for a year (to the week), with no chance of a job on the horizon. I've been contemplating joining the military or going back to school because I'm getting jittery from doing NOTHING for the past year. I've looked at everything I need...

Re: Thrift Store Finds

Oh man. I bought a bookshelf. I was in desperate need of a bookshelf - my books were infesting my DVD rack, my closet space, my dresser -- I had stakcs upon stakcs of books ALL OVER MY APARTMENT. It was driving me batty. So we found one, for $5. It was great! And then it got poached. So I looked aro...

Confession: I will often just try to "solve" the problem by making it better rather than just simply saying "I'm sorry" to the girlfriend. Those words were hardly used in my house growing up. (Is that an excuse or no?) This is a bad, bad thing. Eventually, saying "I'm sorry...

I can't. CT is an 'at-will' state, which means I can quit at any time, and they can fire me at any time, for any reason. I can't sue them. Also, if I'm in my probationary period, that gives them even more leeway to if/why they get rid of me. =\
