When I saw the first couple words (on my 4K display at "100% DPI", then browser zoomed out to 50%) I figured it was going to be related to the premise of the comic. Something about "viewing through binoculars" or something. Nope, not in the main comic. Mouseover text? Nope. WTF?

I can't really even understand where the idea that any part of the dress might be black is coming from. How are we doing on coming up with a 4-pass route over the Lower 48? I can get everything but Washington if we allow a pass over the Four Corners Monument to count for all four states. Of course, I'm using straight lines, not great circles; I don't know if that would affect the final result or not....
