Re: Religion

I'm Agnostic. In my observations of religious debate and discussion, I find that both Atheists and Theists have the same problem: they take the unverifiable and act as if they've verified it. Tis truly folly.

Re: Georgia

I would very much like our country to NOT go to war with Russia if they can help it. I also feel like there's a lot of assumptions being taken as fact, in terms of who provoked who... Some say Georgia had troops in Russian territory, and others say that Russia just decided to attack for no good reas...

Abortion is serious business

Touchy subjects FTW? Rather than posting a lengthy tangent outlining my opinion on the matter, I'll just let the discussion flow. For the record, I have a pet peeve regarding abortion: the terms "pro-life" and "pro-choice" are misleading. If someone is pro-life, that does not mak...

That's the thing- she lives an entire state away from me. We're debating the advisability of an online relationship.

Clerria, are you absolutely sure you're not interested in a relationship with him?

If I'm prying, just ignore me... but it's worth considering. I mean, the question really is that black and white; are you are are you not interested in him?

This was taken several years ago, which is why I appear so young. But you get the idea.

It was taken with a black-and-white webcam, oddly enough.

Re: Confessional Thread

Confession: I just thought of the perfect plan. Let me preface this with the fact that I've been idly talking to my online friend for hours about places to move in the spring, while looking at mapquest maps pretty far out, and zooming in when I found something interesting. FYI, city-data.com was ac...

Simple. Definitions, such as rationality and common ethic, are entirely relative. You're personally opposed to child murder because the society you grew up in conditioned you to believe that way. To substantiate this, let me illustrate how easily justifiable killing is in other societies. Our societ...
