Re: 0929: "Speculation"

I thought this one was pretty straight-forward. People join social networks because other people are, just like a game of catch. BHG will have none of this. I use IRC daily. I don't have a Facebook account. Perhaps this is why it was obvious to me. I use IRC and have no facebook also. Also stopped ...

Re: Mandatory Organ Donation

I think its possible to argue the drawback that the knowledge that your organs will be harvested from your body upon death could impact on your mental state while you are alive. Re: Good and serious book (or books) on human sexuality

Shame you said serious and non-fiction, because the inner circle by t.c. boyle is great. Actually although its fiction it does feature Kinsey and goes into detail about some of his work, and any good, serious book on human sexuality is going to feature a lot of kinsey.

Re: New York Mothers Relaxing After a Long Day: ON WEED

They don't in the least reduce stress for me. do you have like, a doctorate in stress-reduction techniques, or just an extreme D.A.R.E.-influenced loathing for narcotics? The activites I listed were just general stress relieving activities. They arent going to work for everyone, nor do you need a d...

relieve stress in all sorts of ways Curious that none of your solutions involve staying with your children. Also curious that you are under the impression that you understand the world and it's inhabitants well enough to render judgement on anyone who relieves their stress differently than you do. ...

Re: New York Mothers Relaxing After a Long Day: ON WEED

Children are left in cars all the time by parents, caregivers and busdrivers. It's a terrible thing that anyone could do. All that was said about vehicles and pot usage in this article is that the mothers do not smoke and get behind the wheel, so I'm not really seeing the correlation. It's not a co...

Re: Logical fallacies/douchebaggery in commercials.

I cant help but scream 'no-one says that!' at the telly (well computer, i use a DVB card for all my tv watching).
