Re: UK meetups

I'm upset. People did Leeds meet and didn't PM me, who first asked for a Leeds meet. For the sake of the tables I'm in Bradford or Leeds (uni in Leeds, parents in Bradford) and can get anywhere a train can take me.

LARP

This year LARP has discovered me at uni, and has consumed my Sundays. For those not knowing what this is, instead of rolling dice, you hit each other with rubber swords. It is so much fun!

Does anyone else do this sort of thing? If not then just let this sink to the great graveyard of fora topics.

Re: UK meetups

In the last example of this topic I suggested Blackpool since there are varying degrees of rollercoasters, several with cameras. My top preference would be Leeds. We do have several wide green spaces that we could turn into something . Anyone want to ask Randall to draw a comic specifying co-ordinat...

Well, factorisation shows that it doesn't solve over the integers. Lowest level would be trial and error. Next level up would be one of the nice iterative algorithms for approximations. Let's look at f(x)=2^(x-1)-9^(x+1) (simple iteration over python. I'm tired and aren't big on mental arithmetic.) ...
