OHHHH. So, massively missing the point I was. Thanks!

Re: 1109: "Refrigerator"

Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm massively missing the point due to fatigue, but aren't the labels backwards? The food is supposed to roll along getting older until it's rubbish and then it falls into the bin. So, shouldn't the labels to the right, near the bin, be old, and the labels to the...

Re: "Tab Explosion" Discussion

So if I could favorite comics I would favorite this one, because it's so horribly painfully true. I've lost days to that site. Once I had cracked and TVTropes open at the same time and then my browser crashed, thank god. I'm too lazy to read all the replies, has there been an 'enslaving mankind' jok...

Re: What kind of voice do you hear in your head when you read?

I wouldn't have bumped the thread, but the guy above me already did. Probably would have happened anyway because of the Android Girl discussion. Reading this made me want to articulate my own experience. I know I hear something akin to how the words are pronounced because if I read a word or name th...

Re: "Cautionary" Discussion

You've got to be kidding me. I'm getting a new laptop soon. I am NOT getting Vista, my mom's laptop has that, and I can't stand it. I don't want to pay $99 to get XP instead. Go with Ubuntu, I thought. It can't be that bad, I thought. You have friends who can fix anything that goes majorly wrong. No...

Fix'd.

Fixed.

I am so sorry. It had to be done.

Re: "Tap That Ass" Discussion

I definitely think Americans are more obsessed with "fuck". Quantitative example: I counted the number of times a friend and I used various words and phrases in IMs, because I'm really good at procrastinating, and "fuck" had over 650, where as "ass" had a lowly 147. Bu...

Re: "Tap That Ass" Discussion

@platypus Yes, point taken. It isn't literal. But that wasn't the point I was trying to make. Rather, the preoccupation with the 'ass' specifically (over other words / parts of the anatomy). Obviously it's different from the point of view of an outside observer but it does seem to be slightly alarm...

It's not a MirrorMask quote, the song has been around for quite some time. The way they sang it in MirrorMask is my favorite rendition by far though.

I like how the girl is all wrinkly.
