Tricky Multivariable Calc Question

Hey everyone...this problem from one of my Multi Var worksheets has been frustrating me and a friend for a while. We're not sure how you can solve it with the information given, and I'm hoping that someone here could lend their insight to the problem. The problem is: The curve modeled by r(t) = <1/t...

I've heard mixed things about the new album, but I for one think it's fantastic. Much better than For Emma, where the only songs I liked a lot were "Flume" and "Skinny Love". The expanded instrumentation is very welcome, and there's just some straight up great song writing on son...

Bon Iver's self-titled album is incredible. Much better than For Emma, Forever Ago. Probably going to end up being AOTY for me. Like, shit, didn't expect this sound to come from him after For Emma.

And I didn't even know Battles was coming out with a new album--cool! Gonna get that now...

Does anyone else feel "Feral" skirts awfully close to songs off Burial's album, Untrue? It definitely has the whole Burial/James Blake/-Insert (post-) dubstep artist here- feel about it, with the skittering beats and distorted vocal samples/snippets. It's way more minimalistic than anythi...

If you're looking for catchy stuff with vocals used as an instrument, this song may be exactly your thing. It's the first track off of Chick Corea's Jazz Fusion classic "Return to Forever". Near-perfect, sublime blend of Latin/Carribean and Jazz music. It picks up a bit at 1:15, if the int...

I've always thought that Halo had pretty good music for a video game. You might enjoy that. The Final Bowser Theme is also pretty ridiculously good. And even though you say you don't like classical music, I think you might want to give this a try. The melodies are about as subtle as a club to the he...

Some thoughts on King of Limbs: I'm only on my second listen, and I already like it more than In Rainbows . Phillip Selway's drumming here is incredibly good, and the tracks where his beats feature most prominently are the album's standouts. The return to some more ambient/electronic influences is n...

Reminds me of that Justin Bieber song that was slowed down until it was 35 minutes long and sounded like a Sigur Ros tune. It's purty, but really really boring. Good ambiance for a nap, maybe.

Watchmen is my favorite superhero movie. It was very good. As weird as it was, though, I think that it could have done more with the concept.
