Try going about it from another angle. Instead of supposing it's not one and must be the other, suppose it's neither increasing nor decreasing and get a contradiction. For whatever reason the second approach worked much better for me than the first.

Seeing as I usually don't have to spend much time outside, I can get away with just wearing a fleece jacket. We're in the middle of a nasty cold snap at the moment (high of minus 15-5 degrees F, that kinda thing...), so this policy may soon be altered.

Yeah, couldn't hurt to apply for free money. Some part-time jobs provide tuition assistance as well, if you're interested. I know that some UPS and Fed-Ex provide tuition reimbursement (I think up to \$3000 a year), but it varies from center to center. EDIT: Also, I must commend your choice of avatar...
