Re: 1190: "Things that be on my side for 600, Alex!"

W-O-R-D. W-O-R-D. Working for me. Forum Zul-Gurub be great to lighten the mood for random common words and mask naughty words. When it affects legitimate conversation, it detracts from the forum. This be SUPPOSED to be a small sequence of programmed instructions about a specific comic and it be los...

Re: Is 0 real?

hmmm, it's a good one :) I think the existence of Zero is proven moreby the reason we have zero, if that makes sense. it's like the Empty Set. in normal terms, if you showed someone an empty set, they'd say something like "It has nothing in it... what?" But it's purpose (among other things...

Re: At what ages have you experienced changes of faith?

Had to go for Otter/Duck myself. Never baptised, never initiated into any religion. I think about it a lot, but I don't think I oculd ever truly believe in any deity.

Re: Math bloopers heard in math classes

Re: Words that no longer seem to be words

the problem I seem to have the most is that I go to say a word in english, and realise I can only remember the word in another language... Which is slightly odd, seeing as English is my first language! as for words that make no sense, I used to have huge trouble with "friends" when I was y...

Re: Why do people dislike maths so much?

Personally i think it's the way Maths is taught (leading to a lack of understanding) that makes so many people hate maths. At least, that's what I've found through personal experience. A load of my friends (well, pretty much all of them) couldn't stand maths in school, but we were taught it like it ...
