Okay, so at my job I'm supposed to create an image of one machine and distribute it to multiple identical machines. The machines are configured with two HD's in raid 1. The problem is that the imaging software (Macrium Reflect Free Edition) won't see the second hard drive; it only sees one of the RA...

Lockerz.com ... is it legit?

So I got a lockerz.com invite from a friend the other day, and it seems to be cool enough. Not all the features out yet, but it looks like it's trying to be a mini-social networking site, but with *gasp* PRIZES! Apparently a few different activities you can do on the site yield 'ptz' which can be ex...

I'm not a vba expert, but in my version of excel, you can create functions that are accessible like normal excel functions. The code will look something like this: Function CountFiles(folderName) 'count number of files in folderName Dim fs, f, f1, fc Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSyste...

microsoft office excel question

This is a very odd and specific question, but is there a way to take the number of files in a given folder and stick it into a cell? Like say I have 15 pictures in C:/Cloud_Pictures/. Could I get excel to take that 15 and put it in a cell? To where if I added a 16th picture it would update the value...

Scholarly journals/articles?

I have to write a paper for my ENG 102 class. It seems easy enough for a first assignment: find a scholarly article, write a one-page summary and a two-page reader response. I'm having trouble with step 1 =/ two-pages is easy-mode, but I cannot find a decent article for the life of me. He said that ...

Is there a kind of personal GPS locator with a button or something you can press to send out an emergency signal in case you're being mugged or attacked?

Edit: I'm thinking something along the lines of those things you see on tv where old people fall over and press the button for assistance.
