Re: Help with a C++ Assignment

Yeah, my solution is below. Again, thanks for all of your help and ideas. Looping would have been a lot less typing. Yes, you should do that. You should also make a helper function to do the "print to both streams and add a newline" task, since that also gets repeated a few times. you sti...

Re: Help with a C++ Assignment

You may want to use a struct to hold the results of the random number generation. You can then write an output function for that struct which will work with any stream, and write the struct to cout and your file. Unfortunately, we haven't gone over structs yet, so I really have no idea how to use t...

Help with a C++ Assignment

In my introduction to programming class, our current assignment is to create a Powerball ticket. The instructor wants the first five numbers to be generated randomly 1 to 55, and the sixth number to be generated randomly 1 to 42. He also wants the program to write to a file called Powerball.txt. I h...

Not for a full session. I still need to do some twerking to the magic system and get the different styles of it going, along with a few minor details to the races. As far as pants are concerned, American Eagle is the only brand that I'll wear. I've tried countless other brands and they're the only brand that does the trick for me. For shirts, I wear polos 90% of the time. Ralph Lauren and Lacoste for the most part, but I have some other stuff as well. *EDIT* I...

I tried growing a beer this past month This would be awesome. As for the original question, some people just can't grow proper beards. You say you're 22, and that's not that old at all. I believe my dad couldn't grow a moustache or a goatee at that age, and was closer to 30 before he did. haha crap...

I didn't get into PC gaming until I was fourteen or so, so my gaming life has almost evenly been split between gamepad and keyboard/mouse.
