Re: "11th Grade" Discussion

I much prefer the modified Sudbury School model, as it would have left me free to continue studying biology, instead of taking a stupid speech class that was required by everyone in the school to graduate. I cannot, to this day, remember a single thing I learned in that class, except for a live demo...

Re: I have no faith in my school administration.

The internet was not working on one of the library computers, IE, mu Comp, etc. So I opened the command promt and did the basic ping http://www.google.com command, just to see if the internet was connected. Re: AP Tests are here

Re: What is your favourite book?

I'm re-reading Heart of Darkness-Joseph Conrad- Probably the hardest book I've ever read. The language is just so much richer,IMO, than anything written these days. And I am quite fast when it comes to reading. Grendel, currently, in my English AP class. Really well written, and I love the character...

Re: Teachers that cannot teach

I remember when I was a HS freshman, I went to a small Chrisitian school. Very small, as in 17 people in each grade, you all had the same classes, and each teacher taught 4 subjects. Being a Chrisitian school, we had to take Bible, and my teacher was quite, shall we say, opinionated. She would teach...
