Impressive! I love when religious groups try to use science as a weapon against science. I was once working a table in my student union at school, and was seated next to a Jehovah's Witness recruitment table. We got into a conversation about Chinese, which was pretty interesting until they found out...

This could lead to some incredible, fantastic accidents.... Did anyone else have carpeted stairs when they were younger, for instance? Heh, if they d...

I like lead! Mostly because when I see "Pb" on the periodic table, I think "Plumbum" and that word makes me happy inside ^_^

Noble gases are lots of fun, too, but my favorites are "Xenon" and "Krypton", and again, it's mostly because of the names ^_^"

It always frustrated me that I can't remember my dreams after the fact . . . if I wake up in the morning and can actually remember what happened, I usually try to find someone who's awake (siblings, boyfriend, roommates, random people on the street) so that I can tell them about it before I forget i...

I'm a grad student now, and I need to fight for every bit of credibility that I can get when writing papers, doing presentations, etc. I love Wikipedia, and I usually use it for a cursory summary of what I'm looking into . . . but I usually follow their external references and find the information e...

With or without sucking all the new clones into the engines? Because that would kind of limit the utility of the clones somewhat

William Shatner -- "Common People"

I think that man has tried just about every medium he could get into, with varying degrees of success . . . he could never top Star Trek, though ^_^"
