I've actually ordered the book today. My first order from Amazon even :D

It's funny, it costs me about $13.5 the 700 page book and 7 dollar shipping, about $21.5 in the end, and it's still cheaper than buying from my country (about 28$ without $2-3 shipping)

Well, I have some ideas related to data compression and the result of this experiment may help me out. Especially in some areas like sound compression, there are lots of byte sequences that are unique and not consecutive and I'm trying to figure the number of combinations unique and not consecutive ...

Thank you guys, I appreciate your input. Especially the LISP code is interesting. But, I have to mention that each element in the array can have a value between 0 and 255, it's not just a numeric value (0-9), so that's why I know there may be billions of combinations for a large n.
