Re: 1299: "I Don't Own a TV"

If you average out people who still live in the old world, and people who already lived in the future, you get zero. The graph doesn’t show an individual but the average. Well, that's a very strong assertion to make -- that the graph's centerline is the average over all time (OVER ALL TIME!). Why i...

Re: 1285: "Third Way"

When I was first introduced to using two spaces between sentences, back in high school, I balked at the idea.

Nowadays I find it easier to read text with that, since it tells me where sentences begin and end more effectively, when I'm skimming.

Re: 1285: "Third Way"

Mwa ha ha. Seriously, though, having text in smaller pieces, or interspersed (tastefully) into images, or in general written in smaller portions -- including things like numbered and bulleted lists -- makes text far easier to read. The only possible advantage of walls of text is information density....

Monospace font is better than non-monospace font. Because things can be lined up. Such as when I make: * a list of things * a bunch of little textual items * a set of items that are visually similar in text ...makes it easier to see patterns. And stuff. Blocks of text are bad anyway. Space out your ...

I am deeply disappointed in Randall Munroe; the tea, sugar, and hot sauce packages are not colored white.

And to whoever posted the link to a google.co.uk search for "tesco value", thanks. Lulz were had upon my discovering a rather amusing and easily mutatable meme.
