Re: My Pokemanz, let me show you them...

I have just found myself getting back into Diamond again after a six month hiatus which was taken after my intense annoyance at not having any chance of catching a Mew or trading for it on the GTS since I haven't seen it yet. I think I would like this generation better if there were more pokemon I c...

Re: Stupid School Policies

They got fined £20 for not having a bible with them, in school? Schools can fine you money? It was part of the government's 'Academy' program, with a rich, very Christian, financial backer. This school is also in the news a lot as being probably the only school this side of the Atlantic that fights...

Re: Zelda:Twilight Princess

I voted Great Game, Not as good as OoT but still undoubtedly one of my favourite Zelda games ever I have only played it on Gamecube though, I have a Wii but I flat out refuse to walk to the right from Ordon village/Kokiri forest to get to Lake Hylia. (Purist) And Link should be a leftie. I can't ra...

Re: Greatest Movie Ever?

I am hoping that the space in my heart will be filled by an Arrested Development movie. I went to a Q and A last night with Ron Howard, who mentioned that he's trying to get an Arrested Development movie off the ground. I am incredibly jealous of you. I have been browsing the web obsessively for ne...

Re: Teachers that cannot teach

This was the thread that got me to sign up so I thought I better actually post in it... We have had so many bad teachers these last two years in ICT that I have seriously considered dropping it now, two months before I leave school as an act of protest. (I take 12-unit ICT so that is 6 units per yea...

Re: What were your dreams last night?

My latest dream that I can remember is rather quirky in that most dreams I have (or at least remember) are linked to something very important and that are playing on my mind, this one was just out on a different track... Anyway... this dream was set in an abandoned, dusty, wild-west villagey sort of...

Re: Depressing Films

As many others have mentioned, Requiem for a Dream. A movie I watched at about 4am alone in bed after a really depressing week and if there is any other film that made me want to do something with my life that was it. I lay there in bed all morning contemplating everything that was depressing about ...

Re: Greatest Movie Ever?

For me I feel like there is still a space left open in my heart for the greatest movie. Something that just leaves me stunned for hours afterwards. I love these movies to bits but I would have a hard time saying why any of them were the best movie ever. Fight Club - Haven't read the book but this wa...

Re: Mike Patton

I can't look past 'The Real Thing' as my favourite work by Patton, his first album with Faith No More that if I read correctly, he wrote the lyrics for in two weeks. I wish I had been old enough to have seen them live before they split. Despite all the fantastic tracks on that album I have a special...
