Re: Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 - No Dedicated MP Servers

Played it a bit last night, the singelplayer experience is every bit as good as the first so far. But the MP is lacking, at least on PC, the gameplay is ok, but i want my hardcore back, and is there no way to pick teams when just joining a game?!. And wtf is up with no tabbing out while in a match?

Re: I need a book recommendation (Renamed : Recom'd me a book)

Hi, I'm looking for a catastrophe thriller books. Be it from alien invasions or natural disasters or whatever, books like The Swarm which I thought was great fun to read. I would also put The Descent into this category. Preferably books with more than one main character, basically I want the book eq...

A bit light on the rpg-aspects perhaps. But it has great turnbased combat.

Re: Nathan Fillion's New Series: Castle

I agree with Mother Superior, the show was littered with clichés. It was good fun but i hope they flesh out the characters alot more in future episodes, otherwise this show will get really boring really fast. So far the only thing that will keep me watching is Nathan Fillion.

Let the right one in

I just saw this movie yesterday. And although im not a big fan of Swedish cinema at all, this one surprised me. It is a movie about a 12-year old boy living in sweden in the 80s who is bullied at school, when a new girl moves in next door, who just happens to be a vampire. This film is probably the ...

Deep Rising.

My brother and I sat up on christmas eve, and at like 3am, this movie comes on. Neither of us had ever heard of it before and it is freaking hilarious. A great mix of humor, action and great big monsters. A film that does not take itself serious one bit.

Bill Bailey

I think it will be a better movie than The Da Vinci Code. Just beacuse it has pacing better suited for movies than TDVC did, at least i think so.
As long as they NEVER make Digital Fortress into a movie im happy, that book sucked.

Re: The Pirate Bay trial in Sweden begins

I think it's going fairly well for TPB. I have listened to the trial for a week now, and it's really interesting. More like some weird soap than anything else. It's funny that the only ones in the courtroom with any sort of grasp on the technology are the accused, and i think the prosecution tries t...

Re: Religion: The Deuce

The only step religion takes is assuming that God is omniscient, and will thus be able to judge you on all of your actions, and while you could argue that God doesn't exist, it's certainly a rational, possible explanation. If god was omniscient, is there really free will? God would know everything,...

Yeah, sure, but i would be guess. You wouldn't exactly get the nice target patterns we got from the shoulder. Maybe you would get one hit within 30-40cm.

Re: Boy Thread: It's a Boy Thread! ... Sort of

No, that's true. assault rifles hardly have any kick. (by the way the grouping i was refering to was at 100 meters) As far as i remember, the kick from a AK5 with live ammo, was far lessthan the kick i got from blank shots, but compeard to a huntingrifle they were always weak. And i suppose thats th...

5.56 Ak5. And i sucked at it. Except my first time where i got 5 shots within 3 cm. But that was a fluke. I now wear glasses, i didn't then. :)

Re: Guantanamo prisoners dilemma

I don't really think anything would be a fair price. Although they should get some moneatry compensation. But i think the best way to redeem the error would be to admit to it. For the american goverment to officially admit that it was wrong. In an ideal world the people responsible would also be nam...

if two parallel lines meet, they meet at all points, and are therefore one line. otherwise, parallel lines don't meet. Wasn't there some kind of spherical coordinate system where 'parallel' lines met periodically? Or am I remembering one of my funky math dreams again? They would not be parallel on ...
