Re: 1575: "Footprints"

Footsteps is a beautiful poem. I remember, my grandmother had it framed in her bathroom, and I everytime I went into the bathroom I would read it, and I never tired of reading it.

It's really encouraging and touching.

Re: I play guitar and stuff

RIght. I was more hoping for good (easy) songs to learn. Cool recommendations :) For example, this is the FF battle song from the Scott Pilgrim film adapted for regular guitar. Sadly it doesn't translate well to power chords. But it still sounds pretty good and really strengthens your 4th/5th finger...

I play guitar and stuff

I started playing guitar last year and this is my favourite song. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/j/jeff_buckley/hallelujah_ver5_tab.htm I know the very basic chord shapes and power chords but not much more. I can't strum really, only pick. Does anyone have any cool tabs to share or wise old adv...

Sexy Graph Software

Dear all, please help.

I need to submit 3 very simple scatter graphs for publication. But although I love openoffice I think there might be better graph software out there. I want something clean, something sharp, something sexy!

Can anyone help?

Please help!

I'm 22, having some friends round for dinner, I want some nice, cool ambient music in the background. What do you recommend? I was thinkin Tracy Chapman, Imogen Heap, maybe some Jeff Buckley or Leonard Cohen, Paramore. I've been out of the music game for a couple of years so not sure what's out ther...

Background: Sega Mega Drive game. It was a sports game where you could choose one of three options: one of them was to be on a bike, another was to be on a skateboard, I can't remember the third. All I can remember is that you could press a button to make an attack on people next to you and make the...

I just bought two chickens, I have no idea what to do. Does anyone know how to cook roast chicken? I know it's 2hours at 180 degrees celcius. Real Life Weapon Choices (olden like the plague)

So my question is their any realistic alternative to sword/shield or spear/shield in a real life situation. In LOTR Aragorn uses a two handed sword and samurai's obviously used 2 handed katana's..... but I don't understand how they could defeat someone with a shield and sword combo. If they attack o...
