Re: Next wikileaks release to be about 7X as large as Iraq L

Some good points, some a little confusing. Wikileaks have existed for a while now. I understand that it seems they only target US leaks, but there are literally thousands of leaks before the Diaries and cablegate releases. Most of these were not from the US at all. There is no anti US feeling at Wik...

Re: Physics problem (not homework....work work)

It seems to me that you have to build in some tolerances for the setup.
If you require a seal between the lid and body, could you not turn a groove on the lid and use an o' ring?

That way the o'ring will be able to take up any change in dimension.

Just a thought.

Re: Why are electrical outlets grounded?

Grounding or "earthing" fixtures and fittings is a very good safety precaution. Take a metal light switch or lamp fixing. The external metal that can be touched is earthed. Now imagine for a moment that the live wire somehow came loose or the cable shorted and touched the metal casing. If ...

Siemens STL

Does anybody have any experience in writing programs for the Siemens S7 series PLC's?

I am quite accomplished in ladder and FBD's but I need to edit in STL.

I have to learn this in a very short time frame and was just wondering if anybody can recommend some good books.

Thanks

The BBC doesn't advertise anything of any kind. It doesn't take commissions, or make anything at all for money. The only thing it does is screen television programmes that fulfill its remit. So if it broadcast this, it would be making it an editorial position. the bbc shows adverts between programm...
