Re: Ambient/Glitch

Thanks guys!

I am pretty familiar with 65 and The Field, Boards of Canada and The Album Leaf fit in there also I think. I guess I was just looking for something that matches that particular glitchy style, but perhaps I am just dreaming here!

Hi guys I wonder if anyone could recommend something in a similar style to these two: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgoAgYR4584 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BSHAXpNey0 I went to a party the other day and they were playing a whole bunch of stuff like it which was fantastic, but I never found out ...

Re: Gay: Full of hate or just another swear?

In my personal view, the most common use of the term is now to mean stupid, as previously mentioned. Many have said that this is merely a small fraction of the population, however I challenge them to find any definitive data on the true use of the term. As it is, I am of the impression that if you a...

I really enjoy: - Pinched harmonics on electric guitars. - Matt Bellamy's voice (especially on Muse's song "Micro Cuts"). - Old creaky pianos. - Distorted bass guitars. - Vocals through megaphones. Hell YES!!! Micro Cuts is one of my favourite songs ever. Also, I relly love a non-country ...

I wasnt too fussed with Come On Die Young (other than Ex-Cowboy) but I loved Happy Songs, along with Mr. Beast..

The Hawk Is Howling Is also really good...classic Mogwai, but with a few more slightly heavier/faster songs along the lines of Glasgow Mega Snake.

I guess it is a very sensitive issue with (in some cases) highly moralistic viewpoints. So naturally the media beats it up. I guess one of the many problems with is is that (in Australia at least) producers are not required to label their product if it contains a GM ingredient, preventing consumers ...

Check out Red Sparowes. They're a side-project of members of Isis and Neurosis, though they aren't the least bit sludgy, more just straight post-rock.
