I beleive within a couple of months, we can have the longest thread in the forum, and we have yet to degenerate into flamewar. however, we are so very far off topic that we are on topic again... I just checked and the "count to 1 million" thread over in the games section is already at 54,...

I now see google.com in the top 5 and NSA.gov in the top 10. Given the high concentration of technical people among xkcd's readership, I would be fascinated to know if anyone had actually got hold of a supercomputer and put it to work on breaking the hash.
