Re: 1190: "Time"

EDIT: The black changed from 000000 to 151515. That's a bit much... According to the pixel values inside the PNG, it should be #010101, and I'm seeing #000000 (Firefox, WIndows). Yep, you're right, my bad. 5 demerits for using screen-cap vs. actual image. Grabbed the image source and spot-checked i...

Re: 1190: "Time"

The sea level has barely risen at all, and yet Megan says that the sea is rising much faster than normal. Explanation: Cueball and Megan are like the superhero "The Flash" in that they were able to construct the sandcastles, go for a swim, construct an observation deck, etc, all in a time...

Re: 1190: "Time"

I assume the river is at the left. And we've seen the sea rise at the right. I don't know how or why the river should reach the sea. Megan is giving an explanation for why the river is not here yet, by stating that the river is small. So some effect is not happening for the river because of size. T...

I'll agree that the River and Sea references are increasingly likely to be metaphors, but I'm not sure this is the correct interpretation. :)

Re: 1190: "Time"

She seems to be indicating the box. Perhaps she wants Cueball to bring it to her? Also, I feel like the criticism of Cueball's work misses the fact that though he builds more slowly, he is apparently more skilled with fine-detail construction. After all, he made much of the crenelation, and is sole...

Definitely becoming more & more of a solid metaphor for the building/repairing/destruction of a relationship. Cueball seems to be doing a lot of work to keep the "castle" together.

Considering the massive amount of time spent on some of these comics in the past, I wouldn't assume this story resolves in a day, if it ever does.
