Re: 1213: "Combination Vision"

I have letter/number -> color synesthesia, and I don't think that's how it works... it's not a visual thing where you hallucinate colors when you see letters/numbers on a piece of paper or a computer screen. It's just an association, like a strong feeling of a color. Kind of like when you see the wo...

Re: 1141:"Two Years"

Congrats to Randall! And thanks for continuing to make all of these silly comics for us even though you were going through tough times. I'm not sure how you did it, but thanks.

Re: New puzzle : Minodoku

A very interesting modification of sudoku, looks fun :) That is why I said (read the first post) you are allowed to rotate the triominoes. But you also reflected some of the triominoes, which is a different thing from just rotating. To be fair, English doesn't seem to be his native language, and he ...

Yeah, I don't think McCain would have been so bad. But he was 72 in 2008, and if he died or became incapacitated, Sarah Palin would have become President of the largest economy and military in the world. Yikes.

Re: 1113: "Killed In Action"

Maybe it refers to a trope where cops get killed/gets in hairy situation just before they retire. Here I looked it up : D http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Retirony Probably this. Also, cops are allowed to retire early, usually around age 50, and they get nice pensions for the rest of thei...

Re: 1111: "Premiere"

Maybe it's just me, but both of these comics (Click and Drag and Premiere) seem to indicate a rather morbid idea of our world, and on our mortality. Could it be something to do with his wife's cancer? I don't think it's intentional, but obviously his wife's cancer would have an impact on his mood a...

6, 7, and 8 are fairly neglected too. You are not forgotten, 6, 7, and 8.

Re: 1081: "Argument Victory"

I don't think there are chronic illegal activities involving thousands of bank employees. Very occasionally in a crisis a lot of banks might do something that's technically illegal, because they have to. They would all be doing it at the same time because they all respond to the same crisis, not be...

Re: 1081: "Argument Victory"

Pretty much. There are different kinds of conspiracy theorists, but they're all the same. There are theorists that distrust an entity like the government (fake moon landing, the entire American financial system is involved in a scam), and there are theorists that distrust specific people (Obama is ...

Re: Very challenging logic / puzzle game

No, I like a good challenge. :) It was a bit tough at first, but like math homework, once you get it, it becomes easier... until a new element is introduced. Then you have to figure it out all over again!

Re: 1081: "Argument Victory"

I really wonder what Conspiracy Theorists really get out of what they do. Is it a sense of smug satisfaction that they believe they "discovered" something that's unknown to the rest of the public? Honestly, it's pretty sad compared to the actual "conspiracies" going on around th...

Re: 1081: "Argument Victory"

The rebuttal to all this is that the conspiracy is not government, but a small group within government. I suppose a small group might be able to do something, like force a pipeline no one wants, or force us to all wear seatbelt in the back seat or be subject to a tax, but the nig things, like all l...
