Re: 1398: "Snake facts"

Longest snake ever: Titanoboa, which lived about 60 MILLION years ago, only in Colombia. Longest extant snake: Python reticulatus (Reticulated python). It's native of Southeast Asia, from Bangladesh to Indonesia and the Philippines. Longest (and largest) snake in the Americas: Eunectes murinus (Gre...

I dare you to maintain your point of view while you're being incinerated by a nuclear warhead, probably sometime next year or so. History suggests this won't happen. History didn't have nuclear warheads ergo history does not suggest fuck all. Q.E.D. If you ARE going to cite history though try it th...

Re: 1386: "People are Stupid"

Not sure I care for this one. Seems like it's based on a false premise. Since when did stupid come to be defined as being relative to the rest of the population? If you said something about the average person having a low IQ, you'd be factually wrong, but stupid is pretty much a subjective term to b...

EDIT: Aww. In light of the melting points posted earlier, burning the boxes just doesn't work

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is MAGIC!

I'm digging the fangame scene for this franchise. Fighting is Magic looks to be amazing well designed with an incredible level of detail. There's also some sort of fully voiced racing game in the works, a number of smaller projects, and Story of the Blanks, of course. I've got an idea for an action-...

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is MAGIC!

People don't expect one of the characters to have a complete mental breakdown in a My Little Pony cartoon. Come on, many of the Looney Tunes characters went through that sort of thing regularly. Now, one thing I don't expect is for someone to address the severe health consequences of equine mammals...

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is MAGIC!

I consider Party of One to be the ultimate conversion episode. It's loaded with comedic gold (Pinkie's disguise, Gummy, Spike's interrogation, the insanity party) and displays themes that dispel' assumptions that one may have regarding a show for young girls. People don't expect one of the character...

I thought the part where the Inner Monologue insulted the girl was a giveaway. I guess I'm better at keeping track of abstract characters and other people are better at interpre...

Drawing graphics in Visual Basic

This is probably pretty newbish, but I need to draw some circles and make them move along a line. As true as this comic probably is, I can't help but think that it still doesn't apply to me. I'm well aware that this is exactly the type of thinking that star...
