I feel the need to point out that if ZFC (or whichever axiom system you like best) is inconsistent, then every statement can be proved. Since we can't prove ZFC is consistent (unless it isn't consistent), the only way we could prove that a statement is unprovable is to either find an inconsistency ...

Afaict, they're not 'marked as read', but merely marked as received, so they're no longer in your outbox. For example, my notification thingy at the top says "0 new messages, 2 unread messages". It used to say "2 new messages" before I clicked on it to see what the messages were....
