Re: Making homemade chili liquor

I made some Chilli vodka once, from memory I decided that one bottle of vodka shares between two people in one night so I added enough Chilli to make two big serves of thai curry to my preferred level of spiciness: 6 of the prik kee (mouse shit/birds eye) chilli. It started off very spicy but I adde...

Discovered Sloe Gin last night, it makes me so happy. Not usually a fan of fruity things but it's so delightfully sour I'm going to have to get myself a bottle. My absolute favorite to make is onion soup, plus it's a great gateway dish to convert people to onions. Cheese and sour dough are a must. But I still have a massive soft spot for my mom's lamb shank soup, sooo meaty with plenty of barley and celery. Also ham and pea soup can be amazing but it is alw...

No I only tuned it once and put the mustard and cheese on the side I cooked first. What this does is give you and even ratio of steak to mustard to melted cheese throughout.

The best steak sandwiches EVER. Nice 500g rump steak seasoned with salt pepper and smoked paprika, cooked medium-rare in a frying pan. In and around Melbourne I find independent fish n chip shops do the best burgers. Just the right amount of grease, generous size and cost less than a premium burg...
