### Re: RELATIVITY QUESTIONS! (and other common queries)

I have a question, too. Imagine you have a spaceship. Not a small spaceship, but a huge one, say, 1 AU (ca. 8 light minutes) in length. The engine is placed in the rear. Suppose you're accelerating the spaceship. You sit in the cabin and push the button sending a signal to the engine. After ca. 8 mi...

Before we continue, can we just clear up something: what colour is the middle light in a set of traffic lights? Surely 99.99% of native English speakers world would describe that colour as "orange" in any other context. And yet for some reason it's always referred to as "amber" ...

Someone recently blew my mind by telling me I’d been misinterpreting that scene all my life. I like their take on it way better: Superman wasn't exerting a force on the Earth. He was just flying fast enough to go back in time. (Faster than light, I guess? Comic book physics.) The Earth changed dire...

It was because in Poland it is obligatory to stop and yield the pedestrians and other cars before such a light. Very few drivers do so, though.

Most of the time a chess game is about black trying to neutralize a very small white advantage in order...

Once more, very impressed by the picture/world itself. (I wonder, if cross-sections along (arbitrary) geodesics of the Earth could be in the same fashion made…) I doubt you would find so much people and stuff along one geodesic. And even if, I doubt you would like the image of cross-sectioned people.
