The wedding present's version of Come up and see me (make me smile) - Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel.

David Gedge manages happy and yet bitter so much better.

W.A.S.P. was the first band I went to see live. Think it was 1989.

That was a good show.

Re: Singers Who Change Sex When You Vary the Pitch

Fucking hell, the slowed down Kylie song is unbelievable . It's totally 100% Astley sounding. agree. that is funny, shame it doen't really work the other way - but then the pitching onthe vid is a few tones short. Might have to true pitch shifting without speeding the track up (one of the reason i ...

Re: Shoegazing

I think some old Blur is considered shoegaze, as well as The Jesus and Mary Chain's Psychocandy. Although the 2 toured together (NME rollercoster tour) with MBV, I don't think blur could (or would have like) to have been called shoegazing. Damon's performances back then were frantic (very un shoega...

Never realised anyone had name check the Mary Chain in a song (though they are pretty infuentual). I use Acid version 2. nice and old and well understood.

use other tools for recording parts and use acid to place parts and effect (that way i find my self working the same way i did when i used tape and mixers - except i can move the parts and chop them up etc).

So far I think this could really work, all we need is a person to put it all together.
