16570km for me... (Southeast Australia) Next question - what is the greatest GCD from the GLR that is on land - on this planet? I assume the maximum possible is around 20,000km? Southwest corner of Australia is around 18790km, which may be pretty much as far from GLR as you can get. South Pole is on...

I found it quick stunning how different the 'colour' 1 looks in a picture editor, rather than in IE. IE still looks essentially black, but saving and opening the image in almost anything else shows it noticeably lighter.
