Re: 1425: "Tasks"

Flickr has taken a stab at solving this problem. It seems to work most of the time but I have managed to trick it a few times.

Re: 1190: "Time"

Does the person who maintains the xkcd.aubronwood.com site still check this thread? If so, I think (s)he should update the page to show the original posting time of each frame. Would be helpful for those of us who can't follow the comic closely in real time.

Re: 1190: "Time"

Hi, sorry if this has already been requested already, but, is there a place where one can view all the frames of this comic side-by-side? Could anyone perhaps edit the first post of this topic and either post all the frames of the comic or add in a link to where I could find all of them together? C...

Re: 1190: "Time"

Have we completely given up on hacking the images out? Surely somebody could write a virus that will speed up Randll's computer clock a thousand times or so? If this had been a .gif to start with, or if it had been hacked/spoiled, most of us would've moved on by now. With a half hour of thought bet...

Re: 1190: "Time"

Reviewing the gif and I stumbled on a revelation. They didn't start building the first castle until AFTER Megan shook building material from her hair. It's not a sand/coffee/semen castle, it's a DANDRUFF Castle. Are we to assume then, that before T0 they spent so much time sitting on that knoll tha...

I like the virus that turns your desktop into a puzzle that you have to solve before you can use the computer again.

Re: A way around music piracy?

I fail to see how the situation I've suggested is any worse than the one we've got at the moment. Your solution seems to be just slap "Limited Edition" on the CDs, and then a month later offer them for free online while offering a non limited edition in the stores, presumably for less tha...

Re: A way around music piracy?

I am not suggesting that such items be of similar price to most of today's limited edition items. They would still technically be limited edition, in the sense that a limited number of them would be produced, but they would not be ridiculously priced; however, the motivation for them would still li...

Re: A way around music piracy?

What are the problems you see with my own suggestion? I don't think your solution really address the problem. Would it be possible, for example, to make money "solely" out of things like limited edition discs? While i think most people would be interested in having items such as limited e...
