about the whole defunding teh Jeager program thing: They were starting to lose Jeagers and pilots, the Jeagers would be enormously expensive to maintain, and once they start getting the shit beat out of them they simply stop being cost effective. What SecondTalon has neglected to inform you about is The Many, a hive-mind controlling all manner of fucked up fauna. The Many provide psychological horror on a level that not even SHODAN can match.

And then there are the spiders.
I will never forget the spiders for as long as I live.

On the ending: I feel a bit mixed. I didn't hate it, but think it was a bit too out of left field. Somehow "Oh, yea, you're Comstock, but from a different reality" seems like they could have added some kind of foreshadowing to that (it wasn't so subtle that I missed it, ri...

I don't know if it counts as a "deal" exactly, but they're selling a complete compilation of spiderweb Software games for $39.99
This will include all the Avernum and Geneforge games.
personally, I always liked Geneforge better.

And by "they" I mean Steam

I'll be brief. I'm looking for a role playing video game for either the NES or the SNES. I have a retro duo (a console that plays cartridges from both of those systems) and I've only recently started playing Video RPGs. I prefer real time over turn based, and already have the Zelda games. go find t...

Agreed, to be honest. Also She must have known she was committing suicide at that point, which was interestingly dark I'm pretty sure she was convinced James Bond was going to save her. I'd say she was hoping, but was ready to die anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked that it called back...

All I've been saying is that race is...fairly irrelevant to the morality of this situation. The issue isn't about if black or white people are getting punished. It's about the utter lack of due process. Who that happens to is irrelevant, it's still wrong. The "meaningful negotiations" bit...

The fact that LGBT issues will not likely be a "deciding issue" in the 2012 election does not necessarily mean that they won't be important at all. Let us not forget the times that same-sex marriage has been granted in a state only to be overturned popular vote a few months later. And I'm ...
