Weird, worked perfectly for me. Also weird I'm on the first page.

What's google latitude? Is it new, or exclusive to the G1? ('Cause that'd explain why I haven't heard of it.)

Why does this lag so much: import os import pygame from pygame.locals import * pygame.init() def load_sound(snd): class NoneSound: def play(self): pass if not pygame.mixer: return NoneSound() fullname = "./goop/" + snd + ".ogg" try: sund = file(fullname, "rb") except IO...

I do this with a friend. I go round to his house, and nobody but him is in, and he has his music on, so I pull out my laptop, log into his wireless connection, tell him to open the bloody door over MSN, then bitch at him for about an hour.

Works like a charm.

I've got this weird take on a fear of rejection... I'm afraid to ask people to be with me, not because I'm scared of being rejected, but because I don't wantthem to feel bad when they do.

I think I'm kinda rare.

Re: Funniest/Most Annoying Code Comments

Just found this in the BitTornado code:

Code: Select all

try:
    True
except:
    True = 1
    False = 0

I had a good giggle until I realised (guessed) that it's testing to see if True and False exist, possibly for earlier methods of python.

Re: Amusing answers to tests

Edits don't bump the thread. What pkuky did was okay, but in general double posting is bad. Its only okay to double post if there's been a time lag and you want it bumped. In general bumping is a serious mistake. I'm too used to SMF, on Qhimm, where they were damn strict about double posting, etc.
