Re: pacific rim

Saw this, had a great time. From a *purely* critical perspective, it is not a great film. But it is a tremendously fun movie, and it's an homage to anime/Kaiju films, and as someone who loved those two things as a child, I loved this movie. If you do not appreciate those two things, you will probabl...

It could be good. If Bruckheimer could turn a Disney ride into a good movie, he should be able to turn PoP into one.

Re: What genre do you think has evolved the most and why?

Like I said, you can consider western RPGs like Fallout 3 separate from JRPGs if you'd like. You could say Fallout 3 is an FPS, but it really isn't meant to be played that way for the most part, and it's RPG elements are more prevalent. People say it's horrible as a pure FPS.

What genre do you think has evolved the most and why?

This was inspired by a topic I saw on another forum. I think they came to the conclusion of FPS, which surprised me a little, but maybe they're right. What do you think it is?: -Action -Adventure -Action Adventure -RPGs (CRPGs or JRPGs, separate them if you want) -Racing -Sports -Fighting -FPS -etc....

Except for Toy Story 2, which was an awesome movie but started the whole sequel craze. .. no, it didn't. As near as I can tell, the first of the crapfest that is the Disney direct to video sequel would be The Return of Jafar in '94. Return of Jafar was a goddamn classic. I'm not sure if you're sayi...

It's actually 4 Ayn Rand novels in the top ten. Anyway, I think Invisible Man is disproportionately high. I couldn't stand the book when I first read it, and have only recently begun to appreciate it at all. It's like the book tries to cram in a lot of events that might happen to an average black ma...

Are there any ways to know if possible zeros work or not other than synthetic division?

It just seems like a very inefficient and guess-and-check method.

Again, I think you're really understating both being pregnant and the difficulty of getting an abortion. My system is perfectly fair. Men have 1, 2, 3! chances to avoid the responsibilities. If they don't, they probably didn't want to at the time, so they should be held responsible to their actions....
