Re: 1420: "Watches"

I bought and started using a regular watch after the smart phone revolution because I had a job where looking at your phone screen all day was frowned upon. The band on it got dirty and I didn't like my tan line so I quit wearing it for awhile. I just bought a smart watch yesterday. My goal is for i...

I find it weird that the focus of discussion is just about the photography. The comic's point is something very profound -- people make their own decisions how to live their life based on their own experiences and reasoning. Yes, many people appear to make choices carelessly, but that doesn't mean ...

We already have examples of cultural works that last a very long time. Shakespeare (~1600), Beowulf (8th to 11th century). What we know about past cultures, from nearly the beginning of recorded history, is gleaned from extremely few manuscripts ... and most of them copies made hundreds of years lat...

Very interesting.

We just need to keep the women-folk from venturing into the Internets where all the nerdy guys (who can't relate to women anyway) are, and everything will be fine.

What bothers me about this whole situation is the call for defending future women in tech. I seriously doubt that motive can hold water.
