Re: D&D Next (or 5e, or just D&D now actually)

I don't know about you, but I refuse to stop the timer until it reads 00:01. It's just boring otherwise. That situation was absolutely for that situation where the players are abusing those kinds of abilities. I don't want to break them, just to push them. I can always adapt if I do put a time table...

Re: D&D Next (or 5e, or just D&D now actually)

Many times, especially at higher levels I would put time constraints on whatever it is that we were doing. "Sure you can teleport back to X and get some sleep, but in 4 hours the ritual will be complete and the armies of Hell will be unleashed. Up to you, is a good nights rest worth trying to d...

I'd just like to point out that that was the best Superbowl in the history of Superbowls.

Now onto free agency and the draft. Where players and teams alike lose their damn minds.

Re: Your clothes were asking for it: Now in mens!

That's a pretty biased view. I've seen I believe 8 accidents in my life that I did not witness, but was there before the cops. At least 4 of those were quick trips to the store or something along those lines. To say that there is no way that could have happened and that he must have been listening t...

I'd never heard of 'dismissed with prejudice' before so I did some quick research. I loved WAR. I loved the style. I loved that it wasn't so carebear as many other MMO's. I loved the fluff. I haven't played it in a very long time though. I do miss it.

Re: Are you Ready for some "Football"!!! NFL Discussion

Valid argument. Most teams have three QB's though. Keep those three and have Tebow that can be used in many different ways, even if he never sees a throw. Really I think the biggest point is to get freaking Belichick to pull Brady more. He obviously won't do that for Mallet. Tebow is a much safer be...

Re: Should the EVE development method be used more?

It's just a matter of scale and visuals. EVE doesn't have to worry about the visuals of WOW. The terrain of space is much simpler than the terrain of WOW. I think the way CCP is doing it is smart and it works for them. They can make smaller, more directed improvements in shorter periods of time. Thi...

Rex may have talked big with Tebow, but obviously he failed miserably at using him. Tebow still has a lot of talent. If he could improve his throwing just slightly he could be a good backup. If he is going to do that anywhere it is in NE with Brady and Belichick. They don't have a good backup situat...

In addition, it appears to have significatly soured the media's portrayal of the President and his policies, as I can't turn on the damn TV without seeing these scandals everywhere. I can understand the view as far as Joss, but I disagree that he wouldn't want to do it. In the interviews I've seen it seemed like he would have loved to do more and could be tempted to if given the opportunity. Of course this could all just be talk as anybody would do when they are talking about a...

I did not know that it had sold that much software. That's pretty darn impressive actually. As much as I think the Wii was a stupid system, you can't argue with those kind of numbers. I don't think they are going to repeat that with the WiiU though.

Re: XKCD PSN/XBL/Wii/Steam/Specific Game IDs

PSN: Mordus1982 (Dust).

Most games I play are more tactics type games (Disgaea etc) so not a lot of multiplayer games. Dark souls is an amazing game, but I haven't loaded it up in a while. I'd be happy to hook up with anyone looking to shoot someone in the face in Dust though.

When I find a FPS that I actually want to play then I will play through it the first time on hard for the challenge/fun. If it's good enough I will play through it again on easy to try and find everything (depending on if it is a game that has additional things to find).

That's quite the article. I am actually surprised that it's only 5% as the area I live in seems to be much higher. It is very disheartening and there is no real fix. Lawmakers would never cut back on disability, that would cause such a backlash that they would never get elected again. As long as the...

Once you try the butterfly a few times you'll spot it's pattern. I personally think it's one of the easier bosses because it does have such an exploitable pattern.
